“JAF, A SURE INTERVENTION TO THE HOPELESS”
Growing up and going to school in the family of five without a father has not been easy especially for my mother who can barely carter for us all alone as she is just a petty trader. When I got admission to University of Nigeria Nsukka, all hope was lost even after meeting people including some relatives for help. It was during my plight for help that I first heard about Janet Amu Foundation (JAF) and I applied in 2021. Unfortunately I wasn't shortlisted but I didn't give up.

This year 2023, I tried again and my luck shined, lol and behold I was among the shortlisted candidates who were scrutinized through an extensive interview out of many students that applied. Really, you don't know what the Lord has done for me and my family because sometimes I shed tears thinking about the stress and suffering my mother passes through to make ends meet. Severally the thought of dropping out came to my mind but here I am today benefiting from this wonderful foundation. JAF made me realize that being rich or wealthy is one thing and having the heart/mind to give out or help the needy is another thing. This foundation took the highest empowerment by touching the lives of the indigents and sowing a seed that will bear bountiful fruits in time to come.

JAF touches the lives of more than 22 students every year by giving out the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira each every academic session until the student graduates. By God's grace, I'm one of the beneficiaries who was inaugurated and given a cheque of One Hundred thousand Naira on 25th of August 2023. This benefit will continue every session until I graduate. Indeed what God cannot do does not exist.

I must say that this is a golden privilege that I will value forever, I could remember the joy and smile on my mother's face when I told her that I made it through the interview, It was a dream come through. The scholarship will not only foot my financial problems but will also lessen the stress and suffering my mother goes through every day. We are so grateful and elated to partake from the goodness of this great foundation, at least I can now concentrate and give in my best in my academic pursuit. May God bless every soul that contribute to the growth of JAF, may God enrich and replenish Chief Mr. Marcel Amu and family, God's favour and protection upon all the Board members.

The family of Late Mr. Benson Ugwudoha really appreciate the support and benefits awarded to me from this foundation. My promise is that I will never let the burning candle given to me go off in my hands because to whom much is given much is expected.

Long Live Janet Amu Foundation!
Long live Chief. Marcel Amu and his family!!
Thank you so much Sir🙌

JAF is the only educational assistance foundation that is known for transparency; the only foundation that doesn't discriminate. JAF is the best of it's type and the President/Founder of JAF is the most compassionate man I have ever seen.
