UGBOR JOSHUA, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA, NIGERIA
First, I appreciate the Founder of the Janet Amu Foundation, Chief Marcel .O Amu (Ikeoha), his beloved wife and his team for assisting me in my educational journey.
I was told about the Foundation in 2021 as my friend called to inform me of a said Janet Foundation that assisted indigent students in their Educational pursuit. Together we set out to get the application form for the assistance .It turned out later that I was successful. I was overjoyed when I was informed that I was among the shortlisted beneficiaries. My parents could not contain the joy that enveloped them as I announced to them, with great feelings, the latest development.
Honestly, words cannot express completely my feelings about the JAF Educational Assistance. It did not only do much in terms of assistance, it did even more as it helped to ignite my focus that had already been fading away. I saw changes in the way I approached my education. The need to do well became so much an utmost priority. It does not just end there .How about the very many beneficiaries who benefited from the JAF Educational Assistance, for this write up would be incomplete without mentioning that the assistance has gone a long way to put on smile , enthusiasm in the face of other beneficiaries as well.
JAF's selection process for the award of N100, 000 is very transparently situated in such a way that is appropriate for the selection of needy indigent undergraduates across the Nigerian contextual society regardless of tribe , religion or sex and who may have been hindered by inadequacy of funds to accelerate their educational ambitions . Indisputably, the founder must have a heart of gold and I, once again, want to sincerely express my gratitude to him, his wife and his team.
God bless you all, my fathers.
