MMADUEKE DAVID NNADI, PHARMACY, ENUGU STATE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, ENUGU, NIGERIA

JAF is an educational foundation which through provision of financial support to her candidates resuscitates indigent students and through its undying zeal for academic excellence and scientific innovation helps to eradicate illiteracy and abject poverty in the society at large. Honestly, I did not know that this opportunity could be made open to ordinary people with no upper hand in government or in big organizations.

It was one beautiful morning, a friend approached me and told me about the foundation. I immediately went to fill the form and submitted my relevant academic documents needed. It was an easy a straight forward process and I completed the process within 12 hours.

I was successfully interviewed on the scheduled date and I waited patiently for the outcome. I prayed incessantly even while walking on the road asking God to make me one of the beneficiaries. I knew that it was a big opportunity to make my dream come through. Finally, my prayer was answered and today, I am one of the beneficiaries since then, I have been so excited. Immediately I confirmed that I was one of the beneficiaries, I zoomed off to meet my parents who were in the farm. That day, my Daddy asked my mother to prepare a special diet to celebrate the good news and it was done. The rest of the day was filled with songs praises coming from my parents and we all were happy.

With due respect, please permit me to thank you for putting a smile on my face and that of my parents. I have learnt, digested and assimilated what it means to help the needy. I stand firmly trusting in God that I will definitely at due time reciprocate this love you have shown me and my parents. The good work you have started will continue and I feel so honoured to be one of the people that will be given financial aids amongst the less privileged students suffering under economic bankruptcy.

JAF is the only educational assistance foundation that is known for transparency; the only foundation that doesn't discriminate. JAF is the best of it's type and the President/Founder of JAF is the most compassionate man I have ever seen.

I don't think this page would contain all I have to say about this Foundation. I thank God in a special way for the founder of JAF, Chief Mr Marcel Amu for his generosity and open handedness to all the beneficiaries.
