Miss Eze Ugochukwu Odinaka

Name: Eze Ugochukwu Odinaka
Parents' Names: Mr &Mrs Linus & Margret Eze
Village/Town: Abakwuru/Edeoballa
Religious/Denomination: Christian/Catholic
Schools Attended: Independence Layout Primary School Enugu, Federal Government College, Enugu

I am currently in my third year in the department of linguistics, Igbo and other Nigerian languages, University of Nigeria Nsukka. I am the fourth child in a family of seven. I left my family at a tender age of six to stay with a family at Enugu. They trained me up to my secondary School level but couldn't further my education to the university because of financial constraints. I left the family in 2016 after living with them for fifteen years. When I came back, I struggled with my mother to gain admission into the higher institution in 2017/2018 academic session despite our financial challenges. That was the same academic year that Janet Amu foundation gave me scholarship to further my education.

My future aspiration is to give hope and brighter future to the less privileged in our society because to whom much is given, much is expected.

MY ASSESSMENT OF THE FOUNDATION

Even though the Foundation started just about three years ago, it is increasingly becoming one of the most popular Foundations within and even beyond our geo-political zone. This is attested by the number of people seeking assistance from the Foundation and the number already benefitting from the Foundation, especially in the health area assistance. The Award of excellence given to the Foundation by Aku Diewa Lawyers Forum points to that. The transparency with which the members of Boards of Trustees and Governors assess and selects beneficiaries is unequalled.

what Beneficiaries say

When I heard about Janet Amu Foundation, I went and got their form. God made it successful for me. I am very grateful for what the Foundation has done in my life.

JAF is the only educational assistance foundation that is known for transparency; the only foundation that doesn't discriminate. JAF is the best of it's type and the President/Founder of JAF is the most compassionate man I have ever seen.

(Beneficiary)

I don't think this page would contain all I have to say about this Foundation. I thank God in a special way for the founder of JAF, Chief Mr Marcel Amu for his generosity and open handedness to all the beneficiaries.

Janet Amu Foundation intervened in my education in 2018/2019 academic session when my education was endangered by lack of funds.
